Does the fuse box smell of burning?

Hi Alan I’m talking about the small box on seat no burning smell thou
What about the main fuse box where the relays are? Can you make up a wire to fit on the small terminal on the starter solenoid and touch to positive on the battery,if it turns then you'll have to trace the original wire back, think it should end up in the connector under the expansion tank.

If it started after you messed with the fuses and binnacle plugs I would be giving them a clean and making sure the pins were all in properly and tight

Yer Alan main fuse box seems ok and the wire to solenoid is ok it started ok after I messed about with small box on side of seat Brian would the wires to the binical interfear with the starting issue

The seat fuse box is part of the becm and as the dash and almost everything runs through it, that would be a good place to start, might be worth taking it out and checking for any moisture damage

Quick update checked all fuses on becm again still no joy with it starting and fuse 6&7 and 17 no power to until ignition switched on but I can hear a clicking noise coming from the becm when I turn key to position 3 any suggestions much appreciated

From what i have read from Martyuk there are two boards in the becm a power board and a logic board, the logic one has all the info of the motor on and the power board can be swapped over keeping your existing logic board

Sounds bit daunting will contact Rick the pick and send it of to him I think it just seems strange that it started twice then nothing again
