Starting, fuel, isssue?

Evening all,

It seems i have no end of issues at the moment. Another fault

Firstly its a L322 3.0 td6 HSE 2003
Ran put today fine stopped outside of my sons house and it starting shaking a little, like it was a bit short of fuel noticeably tell straight away, never done this before. However it ran another 6 miles no issies with power or revs all good
Switched off watched a few fire works came back an hour later, NO START WAS TRYING spinning faster and faster, tried 3 times for 10 seconds at a time 3 rd time it cranked. Got home blew lines back to tank and changed fuel filter. Starts only slightly better but still a little rough-on idle???

Straight to you guys....any help advice or same isses ?

Weak fuel pump(s).....

There are 3 pumps on the Td6 - intank pump, inline pump and the HP rail pump on the engine.

Most common is the inline pump mounted on the side of the fuel tank under a small hatch.

Have you tested fuel line flow to the HP pump?

At the moment no, as just arrived back an hour ago and changed fuel filter as precaution.

Update

Since giving it a good run it seems to have sorted itself out, running back how it was....for now

Could have been a minor blockage in the filter or fuel line.
