Finally getting round to trying to solve my starter motor problem on my 3.9V8.
The Haynes book of fairy tales says "use an appropriate allen key" to remove bottom bolt. Anyone know what size is "appropriate" the biggest I have is too small. What size is the top bolt and what's the best way to get at it?
All help, advice or ridicule will be accepted/ignored as appropriate.
Sorry chaps, I had searched but only on Disco threads, just put my brain in gear and did a proper search anf found the answer in the Range Rover area. it's an 8mm allen key I need. Off to the shops now, I need this done before the rain comes back.
