Starter motor which one ???

Hi all

I need a new starter motor for my 2.5 N/A diesel

I have found 2 which should i go for ]#

Britpart or Prestoline ??

But i have heard britpart are crap

I need to get one today !!

Help which one (they are the same price _)

some of Britparts stuff must be good or else they'd not still be in bussiness

looks like you dont have an option if you need it today

prestolite,put one on me disco a coupla years ago used to crunch a bit on engaging but did the job.
britpart ended up puttin two on a series both **** wouldnt turn over or anything when under load so ended up fittin a bearmach one with no worries

I got a Denso wun. It wuz a fraction of the size of the old'un, but spins me motor like a jet!

You might find the prestolite is much smaller than yer original (the Britpart wuns from memory are quite big........might be wrong tho'). It dun't arf make a difference fitting it. Getting at them bolts is a pig wiv a big ol' starter motor.
