start stop solaniod

does anyone know how to make the thing work i have fitted a 300tdi disco engine to a 1986 defender there are three small wires coming out of the back a brown a white and a brown and black i have 1 live feed from the ignition what to do do you know?

Im not sure of the age of you engine but i would say the three wires are fir the throttle position sensor for the egr
The stop solenoid is on the back top of the pump slightly hidden 8 mm smapper sized nut on the top some have a lucas flat male spade

later stop solenoid has electronic **** on top, can be removed and stop solenoid below supposedly or possibly fit earlier stop solenoid-either way covered before on here.

you have to break plastic cover off rear of pump to expose solenoid and connect live wire with ignition on to it

hi guys i smashed the plastic off the back and removed little circuit board and there is one black wire that goes to the solaniod crimped my ignition live onto it jobs a good un it works

what are the three wires that go into the top of feul pump? do i need them?
