stage 1 front axle

hi, my mate has had a series 3 given to him for the sum of NOTHING (jammy b*stard) but the 2 1/4 is ka-put. so it will be having a 200tdi chucked in, but also with a lt77 box, which means full time 4x4. i know the series axles wont run full time 4x4 cos of the uj shafts, but.....

can a STANDARD series 3 axle take STAGE 1 CV'S????

if so this would be easyr than fitting disco/rrc/90/110 axles

any1 tried this or know if they are swapable?

you can put a kit in center diff (lt230)so that its rwd unless in difflock where it is 4wd ,so you keep original axles
