Srs fault rrc

Hi all.could any one give me any advice on where to start with an srs fault.
The right hand s on the srs in the binnacle is flashing constantly and the left hand s and r in the binnacle stays on constantly.
Going to check the rotary coupler wires with my multimeter for continuity each end,but other than that can I check anything else without the hawk eye diagnostic tool,

Careful what you do with a multimeter, you could end up with a face full of airbag

There are usually 2 lamps for the SRS, if one fails the other will either stay on or flash depending on vehicle.
