Hi all

Got a 2012 RRS and just started constantly getting an Adaptive Dynamics Fault. Fault code C1A06 Rear right height sensor.

It is not throwing any other errors, and other than being hard the suspension is OK (goes up and down fine). Very very occasionally I get a lean warning but that clears straight down. Also on occasion it has started up in a terrain mode, but I am not sure if that is me leaning on the terrain selection while I'm getting in and fastening my seatbelt.

I have it booked in for a new sensor soon (the lady specialists suggested starting point), but looking on other threads there seems to be a common wiring issue, but these are all for other RR models and not a Sport.

Anyone know if this problem is common on RRS as well? If it is common how easy is it for me to check?

Thanks in advance. Have a nasty feeling I am standing at the entrance to an expensive rabbit hole with this......

Economic wiring (thinner wires) is becoming a fast growing issue in car from the last 10yr or so. Too fine a wiring. Vw Audi groups owners with door wiring issues are a thing as well.
Have them check the wiring before replacing what could be a functional sensor 😉👍

Not just thinner wiring but thinner insulation too.
