squeeling ***king brakes

does anyone have a clue as to why my defender brakes are still squeeling its had 3 different sets of pads and then finally genuine land rover pads and also new discs to try and eliminate the problem yet it still squeels even tried the old trick of grooving the pads to let the dust out but...............................

right, take the pads out and put a fine smear of grease on the BACK of the pads, refit them and away you go, you could buy copperslip but most people have a tub of grease lying around

if y'awl use grease be aware that it may burn orf whereas coppaslip tends to hang around a bit longer.
