Hi

I have a 2017 Land Rover discovery and I have a horrendous squeeling noise from the front drivers wheel like a brake is sticking but a lot louder. It only arrives after I have driven 3 or 4 miles, so far I have had new discs and pads, new sliders and it has made no difference at all, soon as I touch the brake pedal it goes and then is back soon as I release it

The landy specialised has no idea what to do any suggestions

I’ve been dealing with this for 8-9 months. My LR dealership cannot hear the noise when they test drive it - because it happens intermittently. Over time it seems to be happening more frequently. Did you get any answers?

Brake squeal is a known issue.
So try fitting anti-squeal shims if not fitted, or separately supplied in the box plus using a dab of brake grease on the rear of then pads if required, shims should be included in the box or fitted on the pad if u had purchased Genuine LR Part.

Loads of info already on the web including U Tube.

New brake pads and rotors solved my issue. Thank you!
