Hi chaps, I have a rather annoying squeak when i'm driving that seems to be coming from directly in front of me. I have located it down to the steering as when I am driving straight it is there but when I am going round a corner or turn the steering wheel it goes.

I have taken the wheel off and sprayed some lubricant where I can down the shaft but it is still there. I don't think it is the plastic cowl but am going to remove it and see what it is like without it being on.

Any ideas at what it might be?

Thanks

Rob

Hi Guys, I have taken the plastic cowling off and driving around and the squeek is still there, its more like a high pitch squeek not a rubbing squeek. I'm sure its coming from the steering, but I have checked what I have thought everything is tight.

Its constant when I am driving but not ideling.

Have you checked your power steering for air in the system?

Take a look in the reservoir for signs of bubbles, and if you find any, bleed the system.

I will take a look at the reservoir tomorrow, thanks.
Im not sure it would be the bearing as it sounds like it is coming from in side the cab directly in front of me :S
