squeeking Disco

Mines in garage at mo for similar prob, (top cog on mine also drives the cooling fan) the cog intermitantly twitches out when ticking over with a little squeaking, told that could be collapsed bearings, will find out early next wk

Thanks for all the advice on the 'Squeeking Disco' it's sorted now was the Drive Belt tensioner in the end, should of tried that first instead the water pump, but 'hey ho'. again thanks for all your time in replying with suggestions etc..

No I didn't. Just picked up this thread in passing.

While i've been helping G4S out with their so called security at the Olympics, something has got back into my Disco and started sueeking again!!!
I've taken the Alternator off and going to get it refurbished, and see if that works.
I'll keep this post updated Cheers
