Hi
I have a 2008 Freelander 2, which has developed an annoying squeak from the rear.
Doing some checks, I noticed that if the handbrake is fully on with top notch applied, and bounce the back of the car, no squeak is produced. However, releasing the handbrake and then bounce the car, I get a squeak. It is not a clear whether it is coming from the left side or the other side at the rear. It is audible when driving along.
I have sprayed the rear bushes with silicone but it hasn't cured it so far and I have only done it the once.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know whether this is simply dry bushes and with more spraying it will go away?
