Scotland,
Well it was all going too well. I've had a quick search and can't find this one. On right hand turns, I am getting a squeak/creak from the front near-side wheel arch area. Got someone to have a listen /look and the result it: The noise is coming from near the front nearside suspension. As the wheel is turned the suspension drops. The noise is still there when the veh is parked and steering wheel turned slightly. There is no noise when on full lock. It's not CV joint.
Any ideas dear Gurus ;)

I've got a similar issue with mine, its under warranty and so has been taken to the dealership, apparently its a brush thats causing the issue and needs replacing. They told me the part alone is nearly £1000 but luckily the warranty covers it.

Possibly just the wishbone joints groaning...

Do you get any knocking or thumps duringthe drive??

No knocking or thumps. Sounds almost rubber rubbing creak. It's booked in for tomorrow, so here's hoping cause is found.
Just curious as to why the suspension seems to dip.

As the wheel turns the suspension geometry position changes, as the wheels will have a castor angle.....this means when the wheel turns the point on the wheel it sits on changes and if that happens to be further forward on the tyre the height will dip slightly as the wheel tilts back slightly due to the castor angle....

it should only be a few mm's maybe 1/2 inch or so!!

Thanks, that solves that one, as that sounds like exactly what is hapening. :)

Took her in today and it has been diagnosed as the ball joints. So now it's phone around time for the best price. So far the difference between suppliers has been almost 100%. Never ceases to amaze me.

Just spent over £150 on upper, Lower bushes/ struts, track rod ends

Fed up with my knocking on my suspension so its time to change everything lol

Island 4x4 mate

Was cheapest I could find :)

I just had a look and yep, seems to be cheaper than any of the thers I looked at so far. What's the sevice like as the guys at 4x4autoparts are great and I'd only change if the customer service was worth the few pounds saved.

I've used Island 4 X 4 a few times, no complaints, fast delivery even to France:)

This may help.

I have a RR Vogue 2003 L332 and I had the 'creaking' noise from the rear too. I greased all the joints but it only helped for 30 minutes. In the end I took it to my local garage who only do Land Rovers.

The day before I had it booked in I had an awful creak start on the front, much louder than the rear.

Took it to the garage and had all four knuckle bushes changed, these are the ones which have the wheel hub attached to.

When I collected the car I was informed that the noise from the front was cured by torquing up all the suspension joints as none of the bushes had gone.

The replacement of the bushes was £495. The torquing was free. This was genuine RR parts.

The car drives like it was new.

I am good at mechanics but really couldn't be bothered with this task. Special tools, seized bolts, freezing cold and massive amounts of Elbow Grease and the thought that it may go wrong put me off!

I also had Hunter four wheel alignment done which cost £80. Well worth it.
