I just e-mailed Jenolite asking if a oil sprayer would be ok to use to spray there product , As it says on the bottle it can be sprayed !!! . There reply was your best buying the spray cans as its thick , I have also got the cans as it happens for inside the chassis , what a stupid reply its sprayable yet they say buy there spray cans , perhaps as its roughly the same price for 3x 400mls cans / 1200mls as it is for a 5 ltr can , So I've asked how am I meant to spray it , Guess I best buy a water cannon . If a oil sprayer wont do it ? , If anyone has used it any tips how to spray it , thanks gerry

Yer need to be more precise. Does it say how it's sprayable?

It may be sprayable but only with high pressure from a compressor. An oil sprayer like a hand pump type won't have anywhere near the power to spray like a compressor if that's what's needed.

Turns out jenolite rust converter does not say its sprayable . and can not be thinned . But i have found out you can spray it using a oil sprayer , but need to be careful it does not go on to thick , evidently if it does it takes longer to dry and start to react . It was a mis-leading listing which said remover/converter and is sprayable . Remover is sprayable according to jenolite but not converter .

The oil / paraffin sprayer is the one used with a compressor , although the canister is not pressurised , works on venturi vacuum . That type not the manual pump sprayer .
