I've been planning on spraying the landy for a while now but I have kept putting it off because of the weather. A neighbour let me use his shed over the weekend so I decided to prep it and get it done. Here's some pics of what I got up to.

It started off like this... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365017734.568980.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1365017759.313034.jpg

Then I sanded it down....

Primed it...

And then gave it a few coats of matte black..

And now this is it after it has hardened a bit and I've started to put it together..

Overall I'm pretty chuffed with myself, I've never done any spraying before and it's come out alright, there's still things I need to add like black chequer plating and a few other things but it isn't bad for a weekends work!

I'm also putting this job off. Ill have to do mine outside so have to wait for better weather. Can't decide if I want to be lazy and use a roller or borrow a compressor and spray it. Its Something I'm not really looking forward to as I've never done a full respray (or repaint) before. Yours is looking good though.

Just be careful not to overdo the chequerplate. Don't want to cover up too much of the new paint-job (though I have to admit that chequerplate looks much better in black than unpainted).

Overall it cost me about £150, thats including the hire of the space heater, paint and sanding discs. And I'm just going to get tops of the wings and bonnet in chequer plate.
