spot lights, will this work

well ive got myself a light bar with 4 light. ive also bought myself a relay switch and have not got the slightest idea how to use it so ive smashed it to bits because it got me mad lol.

anyways i wondered if i could just do the following. sorry i know the diagram is a bit crap but you should get what im thinking.
