My 1999 Discovery 2 came with a factory fitted A bar and a set of original spotlights, which didn't work. Inside on the dash board there is a switch that suggested it controlled the lamps, but it had no actual wiring to it ??
In the end it was a rusty relay switch inside the engine bay in the gap next to the front offside headlights. Opened it up , gave it a clean , and now the lights work. Took out the 100w lamps and replaced with a pair of 55w as I'm not sure the relay or fuse would cope.
Still have the intemittend 3 Amigos - but I'm getting used to them, although will try to get the fault found before the MOT in March.
:blabla:
