Hi guy's........
Well after looking at various spot lamp configuration's on freelander 1's was wondering what would be the most practical way of mounting them in a 4 in a row configuration??? with winter poking it's head round the corner what I would really like is a neat bracket that mounts on the front bumper,If any one has any suggestions of link's/manufacturor's?? and also some nice compact HID spot lamps that would fit nicely onto it??
Thankyou people!! :D

They do look a good substantial bracket and I like your idea about the steel bar.....
Would look look good powder coated or plastic painted I guess to Hmmmm. What type spot lamps have you used? just as the one on the picture on ebay look a little on the large size. I'm thinking HID so could go a bit smaller with the diametre :smokin:

Two of these on the outside 27W LED low drain scene / 4x4 / Work Light 12V/24V SPOT Flood Beam. BNIB | eBay

And a pair of these on the inside.
PAIR OF MULTI PATTERN 9 BRIGHT WHITE LED BOLT / MAG MOUNT WARNING LIGHTS. BNIB. | eBay

This is a picture of it a while ago with just the two floods mounted on it. Not got a picture of the whole rig yet.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread. Duncan, where did you get your amber strobes? I'm guessing that's what is fitted to the roof bar.

Can supply them also if you want some. 28 LED MIGHTY MINI MAG MOUNT LIGHT BAR WITH 66 LED RED / AMBER "STEALTH" BAR. - YouTube. They are around £80+postage. The two on the ends are a pair of the 24W variants of the above floods. The amber bar isn't listed on ebay presently but I can either supply direct or get it added to the shop

This is a video with the bar just sat on the roof (and hence it looking a little crappy) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0XPQoDd1zM&feature=plcp

Freelandy, if you want a pair of them you can either buy them through me direct, or if you want to go through Ebay, just mention my name on the order details.

Also if you are interested, I can supply these switch panels for the 3dr Owners to make use of the sunglasses holder. Note the image linked to is in the early stages hence it looking a tad rough. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/useful-switch-panel-3dr-owners-196238.html

But am definately interested so you may get a pm out of the blue in the not to distant future. :D

I'm using the same brackets off ebay but with a pair of Hella 3000's, initally i had planned for hella comet's but they were faulty when they arrived and they had no more in stock so they replaced them with the 3000's. I thought they might be too large, but i actually prefer the look of them now.

They are what all the road rally boys use, ok they are not gas discharge, but then they are not gas discharge money! i love them! but i suppose its each to their own!
