I'm sure they did use those wheels on the Sport as well - but as you say, aybe not till the facelift.

The differences in MY2006 suspension is probably due to the increases in gross vehicle weight and maximum rear axle weight for that years Td4 and V6.
Microcat lists spring and strut part numbers specific to 2006 Td4 and V6

Listed as a MY2002 accessory, and also fitted on my 2002 ES.
