Splitting hub and disc

In the middle of replacing all callipers and discs on my disco 1. Having a bit of a nightmare splitting the discs and hubs - they are well and truly rusted together.

Any tips on getting them apart? I've tried lashings of WD40 and my biggest hammer. Any other ideas?

place disc on floor with hub up, raise one edge of disc by holding the hub and whack using a large lump hammer etc the disc downwards, rotate 180 degrees and do the same eventually it will come off ,never hit the hub, gloves and decent boots help
