speedo question

Got this speedo...

Not sure if it's from a 300tdi or td5 but was taken from a military defender.
what ah'd like to know is, will it go straight into the bus (200tdi) without any modification, or would ah need to change speedo cable? Running on 235/85/16's.

Just changed the picture as the first was for my defender to 87 and didn't list the newer one's but it'll record the mileage in KM's which might confoose the MOT guy when he enters the mileage on the MOT certificate.

Cheers again Red, just had a look and it's the same number

Not too worried about the mot guy as ah was thinkin' of changin' the speedo just before ah went to France. When ah got back, ah would change it over again and adjust the mph one accordingly

Just thought it might be easier for me to read the big numbers than hunt for the wee ones

Yeah I drove a brand spanker Peugeot 407 (I think) in France/Spain for a week and that was a left hooker. kept trying to change gear wiv me left hand ??

aye, and by the time ye get used to gettin' in the right door, findin' the gear stick, hunt the go faster pedal that's pressed up against the tunnel and get used tae the roads. it's time tae come home!!
