special tracks are an extreme mud tyre.
not recommended for regular use on the road - they're very dodgy on wet tarmac.
doubt they'll last more than 3 - 4k on road.
they're also very noisy and give poor fuel consumption.

I got about 12k to a set of fronts and my rears are only half worn after approx 18k. My landy is used extensively for towing other vehicles on slippery surfaces. I rekon I would've got about 15-18k out of the fronts if I hadn't of worn them out spinning em on ice.

fookin dangerous in the wet on tarmac and being a remould they aint the best but when i had them on my fender they were good in the sticky stuff

Today was the nearest I've been to getting my landy stuck when it's had special tracks fitted. I don't think I would have got out without waffles or a winch/tow if I was using any normal mud tyres. As it was they managed to find some grip and clawed me out.

hi thanks for replys the noise and fuel dosent bother me my 90 is preped and for off roading its just at the min im useing the wifes punto and dont think ill be willing to drive it when the 90`s back on the road, think i could cope with 15k that would be about 2-3 years driving in it , i just didnt want to be replacing them every year.

About july this year I would Have owned my landy for 3 years. I fitted the special tracks to mine the day after I bought it.
