Is having the spare on the back door a problem on the Disco like it is on the Defender/Series etc? I know the door's steel not aly, but has anyone on here fitted a spare wheel carrier?

I'm on my third one and never had a problem, but then they've always been diesel.

Would a better grade of engine oil help or is it best to stick with the tractor universal oil??

Sure is fun
the only problem i've found is slighlty worn hinge-pins but the car is 16 years old now so i'm not worried.
