Was going round the wheels today on my 3rd day of ownership, just checking round the vehicle trying to learn, (and took some pics), and took a v.rusty wheel nut off. The amount of stud thread it is screwed onto looks frightening - not even 1/4" 
. I presume they are all like it, I didn`t have time to check further, and poss all wheels too.
Is this safe? an MOT issue? I assume its because spacers are in situ, would that be why?
I`m thinking I dont like it - and will have to go longer studs.
Would others concur, or am I being a scaredy cat?
