Hi, brand new forum member here and im desperatley after some help.... i have a Range Rover Petrol HSE 04 plate. it has tv, sat nav, etc .

All of a sudden ive lost the sound from all my speakers, ive checked the fuses and the power feed into the amp and they all check out as fine. ive checked the ground which seems ok.

Does anyone have any further ideas as to what has happened ?? the header unit seems to work as normal and the sat nav still works also

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

I ocasionaly get the same prob with my Alpine Head Unit, driving along and not even touching the unit the sound will go dead, all other lights on it OK, I can change station, select CD etc and all look normal, just no audio output, then comes back on its own sometimes minutes and sometimes days later. I too am interested in how to fix this, but al least you know your not the only one with this Tobes

I had a similar problem. That turned out to be a loose connection on one of the speaker wires.
Check all your connections and continuity of speaker leads.

ok, ive made a breakthough ! replaced the amp and hey presto sound returns but my new problem is that the sound goes again after 40 seconds. does anyone have any ideas on this ?? cheers

thanks , is there an easy way of doing this or do i have to get access to the back of each speaker ? cheers

Try This, I Have a 2002 L322 Range Rover That Had No Sound. The Amp In The Boot Could Be Were Your Problem Is. The Connectors That Plug Into Your Amp Can Get Wet. Don't No Why. I Took My Amp Out Of The Boot And Put It In The Airring Cubord For 2 DAYS. It Has Now Dried Out, Everything Is Now Working Again.
