Yesterday at 13.30 I swapped my Disco for my new(ish) Skoda Fabia.

Yes, I am really missing everything that was good about my Disco but I have immediately noticed one thing my Skoda has over my old Disco, average mpg currently showing 52.5!

I don't think you will be able to get that sort of MPG off-roading and green-laning.

I drove to Stourhead today, a one hour journey, my heart tugged every time I passed any Land Rovers, particularly Discovery's! :violin:
How did it Feel handing over the landy key for a Skoda key?

Take little notice of the MPG onboard computers...they seriously over-read. I had a 2001 A4 1.9TDi 130 on a run that went upto 65MPG, work it out, was only doing 50. Damn things....

260 bhp, what have you done to it ? i had a VRS and you would have to spend a lot of cash to get that horsepower :scratching_chin:

Jabba remap, bigger intercooler,K04 Turbo, CAI kit, replaced TIP, 100cell CAT, Blueflame straight through 2.5" exhaust, head polished and ported, uprated injectors. So yes a LOT of money spent on it!
