It looks like the screw fixing from the MAF housing. Its what the screw you removed, screws into if that makes sense.

Wiv Matt on that one - looks like a thread insert from the plastic housing.
Probably was loose and your banging made it fall out.
Just got to find the hole that has it's thread missing now?
Bit of glue around the knurling and press it back in then do up the screw - all fixed.
