For Sale is my 2001 4.6 Vogue in Java Black with Light Stone leather interior. Owned by me for the last 10 years approximately. Very original both inside and out. MOT till Oct 31st 2018. Check out the pictures taken on Sunday. Car located in Vange, Basildon Essex.
You have until the end of August to buy this beauty because if it’s not sold by then it goes in part ex on the new car I've ordered. I’d prefer it to go to someone from this forum if possible and that’s why it’s going cheap with no offers at just £2500. If there is no interest by next week I'll advertise in additional places.
For £2500 you get what is a low mileage 4.6 V8 Vogue with just under 118k on the clock. Arnott Gen 3 airbags / Bilstien shocks & steering damper. Full diagnostic kit included with Dell laptop as shown in the pictures consisting of BBS Faultmate MSV 2 extreme locked to the cars VIN. Latest version of vehicle explorer loaded on the laptop which is running Windows 10. All cables and USB to serial adaptor. Also on the laptop is Rave & the last (2010) version of Microcat and all the information I’ve sourced since owning the car.
Also included is a spare set of genuine RR wheels & tyres, some special tools and some spares.
Some work done to the car in my ownership:
· Oil changed every 6 months
· Replaced ABS accumulator
· Heater matrix “O” rings done
· Replaced battery with 1000 CCA version
· Replaced EAS compressor last year
· Replaced headlining last year
· Replaced RF receiver with the correct updated Green dot version
· All flexy brake lines replaced
· All callipers rebuilt with new pistons and seals
· Rear discs & pads replaced last week
· Cat converter replaced with genuine LR part because of rattle
· SS Janspeed cat back exhaust system (sounds nice)
· Heated seats fixed with new elements
· DSP Amp replaced with possibly one of the last new ones available
· CD changer replaced
· Head unit updated to take iPod input
· iPod classic cradle on quite rare Car phone bracket PN: STC50463
· Scuttle foam replaced last September
· Wheels refurbished and new tyres last September
· Rear tailgate seal replaced
· Lots more too numerous to mention
Spares included with the car:
· Spare Sub Woofer
· Set of 4 road wheels
· Spare EAS compressor
· Spare HEVAC unit
· Various small parts e.g. plastic interior fasteners, screws etc.
· Coil pack
· Full hardcopy printout of RAVE, all 1000+ pages
As it’s a P38 it’s not without its issues and right now the only one of significance is it’s leaking a bit of oil. From what I can see it’s probably form two areas 1, front timing cover and probably 2, rocker cover gaskets.
There you are a nice working original Range Rover Vogue for £2500 with diagnostics and some spares thrown in.
