I had my soft dash Range Rover Classic stolen last weekend! Reg is L872 LRX.

It was Light metallic green (Cypress Green?) with black bonnet and wings that were due to be sprayed to match the rest of the vehicle soon. It only had 78,000 miles on the clock and was spotless underneath. It had taller springs fitted and matt black three spoke range Rover alloys fitted, shod with almost new Cooper STTs.

Distinguishing features, apart form the 2 tone panels, were a hole cut in the lower part of the rear panel where the LPG filler used to go and Aero Catches on the from corners of the bonnet.

It was really tidy under the bonnet and the engine and autobox were perfect. I'd injected Waxoyl into all the sills and hollow panels and I was intending to keep it forever...

I'm obviously really ****ed off about my pride and joy being nicked, so if you see it about call the police please. It's probably in bits by now but it's worth a try.

The police say it's been used to steal fuel in Dartford and Erith in Kent, which isn't that far from here, so you never know, I might get it back in one piece.

They've stuck a couple of bits of tape on the first L, so it now reads E872 LRX. Hopefully it'll trigger a camera and they'll nick the bastard!

Kent police came round yesterday, the thief is using my Range Rover to steal diesel from garages in the Dartford area. He's filling up 25 litre jerry cans in the back and driving off. He has changed the first L to and E with black tape, so the reg now reads E872 LRX.

Who knows, I might get it back but I wonder if it'll be worth getting back?
