So anyone fancy an update.
I was going to post tomorrow but Mr Prime just pm'd me, I am awaiting a cheque off the trader which is coming from his solicitor. This will cover all the defects and finally get the car 100% sorted.
I know this next question causes a lot of debate but I am considering removing the mullered air bags and going for coils for my piece of mind with regards the air sus, as I cannot cope with more imminent issues with it.
Looking forward to having a drive in it. Might make me fall back in love with it (going through a current I want a defender moment).

Yes end result is good as I know that is now wants for nothing and I have a rangie that cost me just under 5k but in the last few months will have had 2.5k spent on it now and the trader spend about a grand on bits a pieces

Cheers dude, I did consider what u had said very seriously and without your help I prob would have got the result u did get.
I still considered the court route but I figured if it took 6months the car would be coming on 12months older if the court ruled he fixed it.
I am sticking about on here as it is a great place for banter and advice.
