Look at the bottom right hose malarky:

Allbrit LAND ROVER & MG ROVER Ersatzteil Katalog

On mine that little bit of hose on 3 which connects to the plug on 2 is just hanging loose.

I'll try to find the connection tomorrow.

Could that be causing any problems?

Yes as it's the small breather that is the engine side of the throttle plate. It would allow extra air into the engine that bypasses the iacv!!!

I've told you a load of rubbish?? :doh:
The pipes in that pic are of the air feed the the air assisted Injectors!! If any part of that pipwork is damaged or missing it will mess up the mixture and the way the ECU interprets the sensors signals!! I'm surprised the it's not putting the MIL on tbh. If it's been like it for some time the ECU may have learned to compensate as best it can. Get the pipe fitted and leave the battery disconnect over night, this put the ECU back to factory settings.

However I can't actually find the hose it connects to!
Beginning to wonder if it's even there!
If it isn't, the garage might have forgotten to put it back after changing the stat housing, although I'm not sure why they would have taken it off the rear cam.
(Maybe they thought they wouldn't lose it that way? I dunno).
It would make sense though as it's been misfiring since then, although it has improved since changing coil packs and leads (and plugs ofc) but I'm still getting a misfire on cylinder 1.

Just going for another search...

The pipe in the first pic should fit into another pipe which goes to the rear bank inlet manifold. The metal pipe is the fuel bleeder as there is no return to the tank.
The socket is on the left of this pic. It's the white ring thing with a red center.

Well it looks like I won't be able to tell without taking the plenum/vis assembly off completely.
But basically, it's cocked.
Just intrigued to know what I'll find when I take it apart!
