200TDI series 3 88", coiler diffs, overdrive, just undergone a full rebuild which took 13 days after a bit of a bump.

erm where to start....
coils springs, front springs front&back and +3" rrc shocks, 87" wheelbase, full blueband cage, trayback, tube front, 8ton rear winch, rrc axles with series diffs, welded rear diff, 2.25 5 bearing petrol on lpg, series gbox+tbox, 31" dumper tyres, custom deepdish steels. er thats it i think.....

soon it will also have patrol axles with rear locker and front lsd, nos, 33's a hydraulic front winch and maybe hydraulic suspension.

Michelin 9.00x16 Tyres on Snatch Rims, 2.5N/A Diesel, Mil spec Gearbox, X-Eng Disc Handbrake, 9500lb Goldfish Winch with Dyneema Rope, 1 Ton Shackles, Parabolics( fitting this weekend) Pro-Comp Shocks, Detroit Locker in Rear Axle, Southdown Snorkel, Twin Numax Batteries with X-Eng split charge in YRM double under-seat tray, Cobra 1960's Bucket Seats, CB, Mud Stuff Console.

I also notice you have your washer jets on your wipers rather than fixed... does it make much difference?

After a couple of attempts, yes.

Washers on the wipers work well, sprays just in front of the blades.

1967 series 3 109
on its 2nd 19j, was originally 2.25petrol.
had it since 1995 ish
currently laid up waiting for time to sort it out. (following a play day at tong....3 year ago.....)

have an action shot of the mud hole at langley farm somewhere, but cant find it! (pic with the pump in, is langley mud hole debris clearing day prior to event)

1972 Series III 88" - 2.25 Petrol

When I bought it on a cold January day:

Had sat for 10 years on a driveway, did a ground-up rebuild (see here for a slightly incomplete build log) and ended up with this:

London to Brighton Land Rover Run 2011.

Sadly that day was the last time I drove it, really don't get enough time. But I couldn't bear to sell it

It's got a few mods to make life nicer. Defender seats, mirrors and heater unit. Parabolics all round, post-1980 TLS brake setup.

Needs some more work, got to line up the bodywork a bit better and the overdrive/gearbox needs attention. Then I need to get on with my EFI project, change the wheels/tyres, etc. etc. etc.

testing axle travel after fitting disco axles

Modifications are:

3.5 rover V8,remote oil filter,electric fan,straight through exhaust with stainless subaru impretza back box,twin snorkels fitted with K+N filters.

Discovery 300tdi axles,disc brakes all round,parabolics,extended shackles,procomp +2" shocks

steering and diff guards and modular rims with insa special track 265/75/16's
