Hi i know this has been discussed before but not really finding the answer to be honest.
i am looking at buying a new snorkel but stuck between safari and the new mantec one i know that the safari one is sometimes going to win for looks but for practicality? can you open the door fully with both or not also i have been told that you have to turn the head of the safari round if it rains as you are heading into the rain and puts water in the engine ???

kind of stuck also any other advice

with the safari you can open the door all the way and you dont have to worry about turning the top round dont know where you got that from but mantec are just a good but dont look as good

over priced plastic tatt!

and you get to drill fookin holes all over the wing so once it goes on cant sell it without it (or a pain in the arse filling and respray)

if its for a defender the best ones looks wise are the oldskool mantec with the mushroom top, this also acts as a prefilter and you won't have to dothe turn it round in pelting rain or dust thing

its been as durdy as you would have got your old thing many times .
the main reason i got it is i was not drilling fookin holes in my nice new landie, oh and i loves stainless too
