Ideally I want a Southdown snorkel but I can't fit that until I fit the roll cage and currently havnt got the cash for the cage but in the meantime I do need a snorkel for the type of off roading I generally do, more piece of mind than anything.
Currently the intake is sealed from the airbox to the wing with a length of 3" intake piping. Ideally I would like a snorkel that I could fit to the intake pipe, like the Safari snorkel but I do not want a Safari as it involves drilling into the bodywork, as this is temporary I don't want that.
Built in intake pipe.
So any other types of snorkel that bolt into the side intake only with a 3" tube for connecting the air intake?
Or is there an internal adapter I can get to use with the standard MOD/Mushroom style snorkels? I've seen one before but for the life of me can't find the image or who makes them! If I can get the pic I'll get an adapter made up.
All of that make sense?
As for drilling holes in the pillar to mount the snorkel I don't mind this as I'll be fitting the Equipe 4x4 cable tidies/cable runs which will cover or use any existing holes.
