snorkel fitting

You need to take off the piping to the MAF (circled red), and then get some flexi tubing to conact it all up. Not sure what size the defender pipe is, but the pipe size to fit on the MAF is 70mm, so looking at the pics - you might need a reducer, but hard to tell, or if the plastic cowling can come off where I have circled blue, that might be the same size as the MAF to run some fexi hosing straight to that point..

Flexi hose off scrap large engine older car , ie volvo , new flexi off the bay , DIY shop downpipe angle pushed up taper of airbox funnel & PU mastic ?

went to landrover scrappers, to be laughed at! lol..

its a 200 snorkel and airbox and mines a 300... firkin ebay sellers!!!!!!!

got a elbow piece to fit the end of the pipe from airbox, and some 70mm drainpipe..

would of worked a treat but the elbow was less than 90degrees, so it wont quite line up with maf pipe!! its on but not gonna be water tight..

the pipe ya circled is a bigger diameter than the maf pipe...

think pipe like you suggest will be my best plan...
