smoking

me mates disco had started smoking under acceleration,its not black smoke its not white smoke and its not blue smoke,its a sort of beige smoke is the only way i can describe it..

now we dont know if its coincidence but its only started doing it since hes been using bio diesal.

anyone else experienced this when using bio diesal?
or should we be looking at other reasons,its a 300 tdi

suppose the easiest way to check it is to stop using the bio diesel. loads of peeps round here have all sort's of grief using it

Aye sounds like it could be to do with the fuel. Where did it come from? Do you know what's in it?

could be the crud out the tank burning through if he has only just started on bio.. make sure he carries spare fuel filters with him as they are likely to clog up..

had similar on 200tdi after some dodgy fuel (got mix wrong) poped injectors out cleaned up tips prob. solved . worked for me could be worth a try as its easy to do.
