hi all, having a bit of a moan now but they do say bad luck comes in threes! so i went to get one of my tyres sorted today as i found a nail in it:doh: on the way there a transit decided he didnt like the look of my drivers side wing mirror and proceeded to smash the **** out of it with his, he also decided not to stop but put his foot down and get out of there before i could get his number plate.
So i got to the tyre shop and they said the nail is to close to the side wall and i need a new tyre, great! its got nearly all its tread still intact but anyway i got a new tyre fitted but i thought id take the duff tyre with me, id rather burn the ****ing thing in the garden than let those guys fix it and have a free tyre on me.

Any way moan over now but my question is is there any different types of wing mirrors or are they all the same on the p38's?

Thanks guys i feel alot better now ive got that off my chest!

A bleeding transit ****ted mine a while ago too and drove off quick.

If you just need the glass, I got mine from Island 4x4 for not a lot. It's a Britpart and the reflection isn't perfect but at least the heater works.

I think there might be actually, thinking about it. Check the number of electrical connections are the same - I think that's the only difference.

Just changed mine and the original where 6 pin but the 2nd hand ones I bought where 10 pin. It was a bit of a fiddle but it was possible to change the connectors over. The pins needed pulling up with needle pliers so they just clicked, then a jewellers screwdriver could be slide in to release the plastic clip, then the pin could be pulled out the back of the socket. I also took care to put the pins in the right way round in the six pin housing.

Good luck.
