Disco 2 Slabs ecu replacement - electronics

Hi all,

a (hopefully) quick question around the process for replacing my slabs ecu and apologies if this is a really basic/daft question but the battery/electronics side of it baffles me!

So, when removing the old slabs ecu and fitting the new one, do I need to disconnect the battery and if so assume it’s just the negative lead that I remove?
I’ve searched and googled but all the replacement threads and discussions seem to either skip this bit or it’s not required so wanted to check before I cock things up!

Hi, remove battery negative lead before any ECU swap...btw next time check in the workshop manual rather than on the web cos these answes are there

Thanks @sierrafery - and yes, you’re right, should have done that! To used to finishing the answers to everything on google!

New ECU arrives today so hopefully that will clear the issues
