Hi all
my name is Paul i am a mechanic with 32 years in the trade i am currently building a disco for off/on road use but this is on a budget
Has anybody ever tried moveing the radius arm brks on the front axle to correct the castor instead of buying £250 radius arms
now your all thinking can it be done all that money i spent

there still well over a £100 and it can only be a matter of checking the castor angle of a standard set up cut the brks of the axle and weld them or new ones back once the axle has been rotated the ness amount to bring the castor back into line unless i am not thinking iit through properly hence my post to see if theres another nutter out there

I had an old nissan patrol converted from leaf springs to coils and giving it a 6" lift in the process utilising rangerover radius and trailing arms.
involved lots of head scratching, measuring, fabricating new axle and chassis brackets then welding it all up:D
took longer to weld the body up.................
