I just had two days off to do loads of jobs on me III that just weren't gittin done.
I've now got brakes that stop, a tranny brake that keeps it stopped, steering that goes where I want it to when I want it to ...........and the 'little' job that chuffs me the most?
Stupidly, late this arvo' I decided to try to git my eggzorst exiting through the middle of my rear PTO & bust both the zorst hangers (those little lengths of webbing stuff) in the process.
Bastid! It's just getting dark & I can't nip around and raid Daft's extensive emergency parts store AGAIN today!
Flash of inspiration & I've just made new wuns out of an old leather belt of the exact width, they're double thickness and they actually hold the entire length of me zorst so it clears me chassis along it's entire length (half V8 zorst, half Series zorst wiv a flexi pipe to git it around me overdrive) so no more clunks & rattles.
Fekin chuffed me & bowlox, I've earned a beer.............or three..............er, or so!
