The ever helpful chap at The Paintman isn't in the office until Monday and I want to get an order in asap...

    Chassis - Nato matt black?

    Body - matt olive drab?

    Up to you *shrugs*

I got my paint from paint man, it’s worn quite well. I rollered it on

Well, I've taken a chance and ordered it, it probably won't go out until Monday anyway.

I'm all set up for spraying, there are hanging dustsheets everywhere which is why I want to get a move on - can't do much else until I can clear up.

Depends what year you want to represent, so it might be DBG, OD or NATO Green.

Cool will be interesting to hear how it sprays, I found it good paint and 4/5 years later it hasn’t faded or anything, I used nato satin olive green

Should have put this up - the green is just for a bit of touching up where I've replaced the bulkhead end panel and footwell.

Right now it's the chassis colour I want to get right though.

Be aware that new paint won’t be a colour match as the old paint would have faded, MOD irr paint fades quite a lot

You say MOD irr paint... so not drab olive?

Fading, yes, but the PO has repainted bits from time to time, so it's sort of camouflaged for hiding amongst mil landies. I'll just be carrying the tradition forward.

MOD paint in general, just letting you know, I repainted part of mine and when it dried was noticeably different shade, so
I ended up painting the whole thing lol
