Side Steps

My old dad has a old M reg three door with rubber coated side steps
the problem is the rear bracket on the drivers side has rotted through and the step has had to be taken off.
the question is is there any body supplying replacement brackets or do I have to get one of his farmer mates to fabricate some new ones?

Take em off and bung em in the scrap pile. They're ugly as feck and if you go into deep mud the brackets act like anchors.
