Near side lights out

Hi All,

I have recently taken my back NAS step off the Defender 90. It had tow electrics on which when looking inside has corrosion damage.

But since I have removed the step both my near-side rear light and parking light have stopped working and there is no indication light on my dash to say they are on (when I can see they are)

I have swapped over the parking lights to see if it was the LEDs but no problems. Unfortunately cannot test back they have been crimped in and is already short on cable.

Not sure if it's due to the Tow electrics being damaged or just the switch at the wheel.

Any advice would be approached.

Have you checked the same side(lights) on the front of the motor?

If they are out,possible fuse as each side has a separate fuse

I took the dead side light and put it on the working and no issues.

Turns out it was the fuses
