Side light bulbs

Hi everyone, i was just wondering can i change my normal bulbs for led ones on my 1986 90, i done i search but i think the ones that i found are the small ones.

Tried the stop tail led bulbs in mine. Found the neck on the lamp was not long enough to reach the contacts and twist under the locating pegs

But like Harlequin says I could not get the stop/tail ones to work in the standard light fitting.

It depends how long the stalks are. I tried some from halfords and they were too short to go in. I got some bullet ones from a show and they work perfectly in my sidelights and are blindingly bright. So the answer is yes you can if they fit.

Dont waste your money.... i bought some super white LED side light bulbs on ebay for my 90 (with NAS lights). They looked more blue than white (which i didnt want) and they werent really any brighter. They also looked odd as my headlights werent blue. I took them out because I didnt want to look like a chav with blue lights.
