Yes,another one.

Just wondered if anyone had a bits list.

What I'm doing is, leaving existing lil silencer, then coming off the back of that to side exit.

2 reasons.

1. The tail pipe has rusted out, but the rest is solid.
2. I'm fed up of mucky marks on the front of me caravan :)

Looked at flexi, and seeing as it has a relativly short lifespan (it seems) looks like the expensive option.

so, looking at a couple of hours with the welder and some bends :)

my cheapest option thus far, which I may do on me way home, is to go rifle through the scrap bin behind my local zorst place :D

When I did mine I ordered a length of 60mm pipe ordered a few weldable 90 degree bends and 45 s in sch 10. You can get the bits from most steel company's cost me £30 but I ended up buying a weldable flexi section as I fixed the side exit section with u bolts to stop it catching the chassis and body

You can pie cut some straight pipe to create your bends. I've just made a full stainless system for my 110. I'll finish it this weekend before posting photos. Just google pie cut.

Hi tim

If the rest of the exhaust is ok then i would just buy a new rear silencer and cut the flange off that would join the middle silencer and cut the bends off aswell to weld in place to suit if that makes sense :)

Cheers.

Was hoping to keep the rear silencer, already got rid of the middle one, and the back ones only tidgy.
Failing that I might end up just cutting it back further and having a straight through, just worried it will be annoying as a daily motor.

Last plan is cut back whats there, put silencer further back and work from there.

Have managed to pick up a couple of bits of zorst, and scrounced a bit of straight pipe from a metal work shop, and got one of those flexi "repair" bits form the garage next to my work. so Ill see waht we come up with :)

got the flexi bit so I can rigid mount my tail pipe to it doesnt rattle on the body, and flexi it to the rest of the system.

Wifes away with the kids next week, so got a few evenings to play with :)

In that case then i would just order a front pipe, middle straight through pipe, and rear silencer for what i said for peanuts from paddocks :)

Where ive put mine, full straight through from the turbo.
Where the rear pipe attaches I just made up some bends to run over the top of the chassis, and follow the tub giving as much clearance inside the arch as possible.
I baught x3 bends for 10 from local exhuast place and few short off cuts gave me for nothing.
I've clamped the section in one place so I can still remove it if needed not being all welded up solid,
