I'm looking to replace my existing towbar with a 2 inch receiver hitch (to give me a good recovery point on the back). Terrafirma do one (part number TF873) that seems to fit the bill. The hitch doesn't come with a fixing kit. Does anyone know the bolt sizes for both vertical attachment to the cross member and for attachment back to the chassis?
Also, side question. Does anyone use one of these for recovery? Seems to be the best option to me for creating a recovery point. Terrafirma also do a much cheaper option (TF750) if you only want a recovery point and not a full hitch.....just doesn't look beefy enough to trust ! Any thoughts would be appreciated,
