Forgive me for showing off but Ive just had Jeremy Fearn do an upgrade on my 110.
248 bhp and 515nm of torque.... goes like **** of a shovel.
New water and oilcooled turbo (20psi boost) and a stainless exhaust.
Its a different motor.

looks rad. my next build will be a similar only a 90. wont go down the route of the scorpion evo kit though.

is it easy to get the roofrack custom fitted to the cage? can it be taken off easily?

Evo kit... humbug!!
Mine's the extreme kit :D

Safety devices made the cage and the roof rack just bolts on.

Yes it has cost a lot of money but has had a lot of problems.
In Norway its classed as a minibus...so I get a lot of toblerone in it and things from Ikea.

Some of the problems have been a knackered fly wheel. Land Rover new about it when they built it but kept it away from people... you can find that in the service bulletins. One of the pipes that shoots oil underneath piston... came out in the oil change. new back door... because of corrosion and the front side door posts and vent areas re-sprayed du to corrosion... claimed on the warranty. Also three fuel pumps. Land Rover service in Norway is not very good. They keep changing dealers so they cant keep up with the mechanics who have knowledge of the vehicles. I have all my work done by McDonald Land Rover engines in Oswestry now. Great firm and honest. Mark did a great rebuild on the engine after the cylinder head went. Also Hew did a nice mod to the radiator. because i go wading alot too... a couple of times the fan has cut into the radiator. Ill try and post a picture of the mod... simple and cheap and works great. Also one small mod i made myself that demists the windows... willfind some pics of that too.

The first scorpion springs i had had to be replaced as they all broke (I think due to the weight as mine was the first 110 they had done) They made some custom springs for me and they seem to be a lot better now.
I also had an extra fuel tank fitted... but that also is not recomended if your going off raod seriously in this thing. the mudflap bracket was welded onto the tank... gues what happens when you scratch a rock... so Ive removed that an poluted the river with 40 litres of diesel. The Scorpion rock buster bars are great until you bend them.... you cant straighten them out again in the forest :)

What I was wondering about was the inter cooler (as it gets down to -35 here sometimes. Its -9.5 now) and how it would go with chip upgrade. Everything seems to be OK. I do have a preheater in the car so I try and warm it up 15mins before I start it in the cold. if you are doing the chip upgrade you will need a heavy duty clutch due to the normal one cant handle the power... so the racing paddle clutch works great now. No moreclutch slip when I excellerate.

Every quarter it has full oil changes and I do look after the beast ... but do play rough. Ill add some more pictures to the gallery later.
I find here in Norway they use larger/wider tyes while in England most have thin tyres too.

It will be interesting to see how she goes in Morocco this coming March.
