Should I buy a Power Box 2 from Rimmer Bros?!

I've run my P38 2.5dse for over a year. In that time I've covered over 20,000 miles and averaged about 22mpg. I use the car all day, every day, around town, dual carriageway, motorway, the lot. The air con is set to "Auto" 24/7 I've been looking at a Power Box 2 from Rimmer Bros to improve fuel consumption etc. I fill up every week (£105) and get about 440 miles per tank currently. According to Rimmer Bros stats the Power Box 2, at £325, could have paid for itself after about 9 months.

Has anyone had any experience of this product and it's results?

I suppose so. I've looked at eBay, etc. However, do you know if it's worth it anyway?

yes it will be well worth fitting a psi powerbox to your dse.i had one on my p38,it made a huge difference in the performance and mpg.

for the better i might add.

Which one did you go for? I'll compare prices etc. The Rimmer product as £325 inc. VAT. Dod you have the P38 recently?

i bought my powerbox privately.look on ebay as they do come up on there.i had it on my p38 and as far as i know it is still on it,if you ask ROBINT on this forum he will tell you,as it is him who bought my p38.

Those kind men at Foundry 4x4 have sorted me out. I took their advice and bought an upgraded air filter as well. They reckon the whole job is easy to fit (famous last words!). The guy told me my fuel consumption will probably be lower for the first month. He reckons everyone floors it for a few weeks to see the difference in power! They seemed helpful though and thanks for the recommendation.

I fitted the PowerBox on Saturday. The difference was instant. Much more power, pulls through the gears quicker, smoothly. I've noticed an improved MPG already. It feels a completely different car. I think I'll keep it now! Thanks!

see i said it would make a big difference to your p38.i bet your glad you bought one now.
