I have just looked at removing the aux drive belt on my TD4. As per all the different instructions you can look at they say using a 24mm spanner, attach to the belt tensioner and turn anticlockwise until the tensioner releases enough to slip the belt off.
So i went to do this and the bolt in the middle of the tensioner started turning anticlockwise without releasing the tension on the belt. I kept doing this until the bolt tightened up and then started to release the tension on the belt.
Now my question is, should I be worried that the bolt in the middle being loose? Is it going to happen again?
Anyone had any experience?
Thanks
